Win $150 to Spend at Minted! Giveaway Expires 11/12/13.

It's no secret that I am quite possibly Minted's new #1 fan!  I discovered this great company last fall when I was looking to order my holiday cards.  I had never purchased anything from them in the past, but they won me over and then some!  I was highly impressed by the quality of their paper and envelopes, as well as their attention to detail.  I especially appreciated the inclusion of vellum inserts for my fold-over cards to ensure that no ink transferred on the inside when the cards were in transport (because that will happen otherwise, particularly if photos are printed on the interior).  I even listed Minted as my favorite company to use in this post with 15 Great Sites to Get Your Holiday Photo Cards.  They are awesome!  If you are really organized, they even offer a FREE service to print your recipient addresses on your envelopes.  You just have to upload the addresses at their site.  How great would that be to simply stuff your envelopes and mail?!

Since that time, I find myself going to their site when I am looking for all my stationery needs.  They even have great gifts like personalized journals (I love this one where you can jot down all the funny things your kids say and do), photo calendars, beautiful custom wall art, classy party decor, and more!  One of of my favorite new items they carry is this personalized wrapping paper.  I just ordered some like this... I can't wait to see how it turned out!

I was so excited when the wonderful people at Minted reached out to me recently and asked if I'd like to offer my readers the chance to win $150 (!) in credit to use at their site!  (Um... twist my arm... well, of course!!)  One lucky person reading this right now will soon have a nice chunk of change to spend, just in time for the holidays!  Woohoo!!  Thank you, Minted!

The Cards I Ordered at Minted

Last year we had professional pictures taken of our family for the first (and only!) time (thank you, Aubri, from Pink Sky Photography!), and I wanted to find an extra special card to highlight the beautiful pictures we were so lucky to have.  After much searching, I finally settled on this card at Minted.  I loved how I could drag around the "Happy Holidays" script so that it wasn't on anybody's face.  Many card companies don't allow movement of text, and it can often be hard to make the placement work with your photo; but Minted makes it easy to move things around with the click of your mouse.  I could also control the location of our last name (which is partially hidden for privacy reasons), and even the cute heart could be dragged into just the right spot!

Inside, I liked how I could share so many other pictures on the left side of the card.  (There are many layouts available; this is just the one I chose.)  And then on the right side, there was just enough space to write a note to fill everybody in on our year.  Our fourth daughter arrived that year and we were about to celebrate our first Christmas as a family of six, so I certainly had some fun details to report!

To top if off, Minted sent along vellum inserts so the card would reach its destination looking just as it did when I sent it!  Without vellum inserts, the ink from the photos on the left would have transferred to the text on the right during transport.  I really appreciated that small detail to ensure the beauty of the cards!

See below for a glimpse of how it turned out.  They are my favorite cards yet!
